for Middle School Students, this academy will offer Career Exploration for your future. Beginning with an icebreaker, Interactive exercises to discover your strengths (and weaknesses), career exploration, and goal setting will follow. A keynote address will also be given focusing on "Making Your Dreams a Reality". Students will be able to make their very own vision boards to spark action planning for College Success. Seating is Limited to 10 students per academy.
for High School Students entering college or the job market.• This academy will include critical information and training on the following: Personality Type (Understanding Strengths & Weaknesses) • Admissions & Scholarships Essay Writing (Communicating Who You are Effectively) • Choosing a College Major (Pursuing Your Passion) • Securing Quality Internships (Resume & Interviewing Skills). Interactive Exercises to discover your strengths (and weaknesses), and keynote speakers from various professions will be here to teach students about career opportunities and academic preparation. Seating is Limited to 10 students per academy.
Jeremiah 29:11 Grant Partnerships with Area Churches or Individual Sponsors. With Pastor recommendation, each member approved for the grant will receive 3 or 5, 1.5 hour-professional consultation meetings (depending on chosen grant), including a professional resume (2.5 hours) designed by the Senior Consultant. Jeremiah 29:11 states, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
